Acheulean culture
The Acheulean culture began shortly after 75,000 BCE and continued up until 40,000 BCE where early humans left an abundance of artefacts with greater symmetry and point. These included hammers, anvils, scrapers, planes, arrow-heads, spear-heads, and knives. And have been found around Europe, Greenland, North America, Africa, India, and China.

Full disclosure, I may occasionally borrow a sentence from Will Durant's Story of Civilization. I absolutely love that collection!
