Magdalenian culture
The Magdalenian culture appears throughout Europe about 16,000 BCE; in industry it was characterized by a large assortment of delicate utensils in ivory, bone, and horn, culminating in humble but perfect needles and pins; in art it was the age of the Altamira drawings, the most perfect and subtle accomplishment of Cro-Magnon Man.
